Who is Nancy?
Travel was the dream long before it became the business.
Nancy Gakere's fascination with travel started young, inspired by her father's trips and the excitement they brought into the household. She once imagined becoming a flight attendant simply because it looked like a key to seeing the world.
Life took a different route. Nancy moved to the United States, earned a business degree, became an accountant and worked in the entertainment industry. Travel became the way she escaped the nine-to-five whenever she had the chance.
Even on a student or early-career budget, she found a way to go. She shared those journeys online, built a community of people who wanted to travel more, and kept showing that travel could fit into real life, including life as a mom.
